PMAF Board of Directors Election Candidates

The PMAF Board of Directors currently has four seats to be filled by election. Candidates are listed below. Please review the candidate information below. Election will be held by voice vote at the PMAF Annual Membership Meeting on March 28, 2023 on Zoom.

John Hamilton, Brooks Moving and Hauling

John Hamilton is the Owner of Brooks Moving and Hauling of West Palm Beach. After a terrible move while transitioning to military retirement, he decided to purchase a moving company integrating the Motto "Bringing integrity back to the moving industry".

Brooks Moving and Hauling has earned over 350+ 5 Star reviews over the last two years and is now thrilled for the opportunity to be a Board member of the Professional Movers Association of Florida. 

 


Guy Maman, Forward Van Lines*

CEO and director of Forward Van Lines. Team leader who values operations and implementations designed with quality, professionalism, and efficiency.

I am a solution driven and detailed oriented manager whom is able to build and direct an effective team. I am a firm believer that hard work and dedication leads to well performed project. A well laid plan is only as good as its execution and thus must be managed, performed and finalized by those that get the job done. 

 


Danielle Perri, National Van Lines

Danielle is the Director of Network Development for National Van Lines. 

She is proficient in building relationships within the moving industry, proficient in COD and account sales. Knowledgeable regarding market trends and sales tactics to produce in current economic climate. Up to date on GHC, FMCSA regulations.

 

Gloria Pugh, AMWAT Moving Warehousing Storage*

President of PMAF from 2021 to 2022 – during tenure led opposition of Senate Bill 1928; developed strong relationships with Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; Florida Attorney General; Better Business Bureau; Florida Trucking Association and American Trucking Association Moving & Storage Conference.

Increased brand awareness in market. 2023 led opposition to a similar bill of SB 1928 and drafted proposed legislation that has been incorporated into a Senate Bill 1106 addressing dishonest moving brokers and moving companies as well as unlicensed activity.

 

Ryan Thomas, Victory Packaging

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida – with a 10-year stint in Ohio. I recently married this past September and have an eleven-year-old daughter.

I went to the University of Central Florida and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. Also, played basketball and football collegiately.

I have been with Victory Packaging for 7 years, 3 now that have been fully dedicated to Moving & Storage; I found a passion, home and fulfilling career within the moving industry.
